Anne Carnein featuring Falko Behrendt and Anka Manshusen

Two artists from the Galerie Schimming are each exploring the themes of chamomile and buttercup in completely different ways. This formed the basis for the idea behind the exhibition ‘Anne Carnein featuring Falko Behrendt and Anka Manshusen’: Anne Carnein, who recreates nature in her own way using wire and fabric, together with Falko Behrendt, who in turn incorporates nature in its original form into his collages, and Anka Manshusen, who, in her photographs, transforms the colours of nature into abstract forms that still allow us to sense nature’s presence. In our gallery in Jungfrauenthal, we thus bring together delicate sculptures, subtle paintings and collages with large-format photographs. They all place blossoms at the heart of art.
