How much does an art consultation at Galerie Schimming cost?
The consultation is free of charge, from the initial discussion through to viewings and visualisations. You are only charged for the artwork you purchase; we agree on transport, framing and hanging arrangements transparently in advance.
What happens during a viewing?
We’ll bring a selection of artworks to your home, in Hamburg, the surrounding area or on Mallorca, and assess the lighting, visual impact and placement directly in the room. Alternatively, send us a photo of your wall with the dimensions, and we’ll show you how the artwork would look on site, to scale.
Can I see a piece of art on my wall beforehand?
Yes. On every artwork page you will find the ‘On your wall’ feature: a true-to-scale 2D preview using your own photo of the wall and, on your smartphone, an augmented reality view at a scale of 1:1. Your wall photo is processed entirely within your browser.
Does the gallery work with interior designers and furnishing specialists?
Yes. For interior designers, interior architects and architects, we support projects from selection right through to installation, in Hamburg and on Mallorca. We can provide details of our trade partner terms on request. A good example of this is our collaboration with the Birgit Müller kitchen and interior design studio in Palma.
Does the gallery take care of transport, insurance and installation?
Yes, all from a single source: expert logistics, insurance, secure delivery, and professional installation and lighting by our team.
