Stohead: Written Abstraction

Our second solo exhibition featuring STOHEAD follows on thematically from the solo show at Galerie le Feuvre, which was on display in Paris in September 2017 and was reviewed in the New York Times. As before, the artist’s works continue to explore the theme of calligraphy and its contemporary interpretation. Drawing inspiration from urban art, Stohead seeks a contemporary and painterly approach to one of the oldest art forms through his expressive and seemingly haphazardly applied colours, shapes and symbols.
