Xenia Hausner & Hans Kupelwieser

This year, Galerie Schimming is showing two Austrian positions at Wattweg 1 in Kampen. Xenia Hausner, to whom the Albertina in Vienna dedicated the major retrospective ‘True Lies’, has been working with expressive portraits for decades. The Austrian media artist and sculptor Hans Kupelwieser has for many years taken playful and creative approaches to working with a wide variety of materials. The joint exhibition “INFLATED” features large-scale sculptures by Hans Kupelwieser. Xenia Hausner’s works on display include large-format oil-on-canvas paintings as well as various editioned works.

The exhibition runs from 23 July to 16 September at Wattweg 1 in Kampen on Sylt.
