About Hunt Slonem
The New York painter, sculptor and printmaker Hunt Slonem became known internationally for his neo-expressionist motifs.
Realistic and in part abstract at the same time: Slonem paints bunnies, butterflies and birds.
Slonem gives each of his bunnies, with their independent and gentle character, a personality of its own in keeping with the frame chosen for it. Originally conceived in abstract terms, the bunnies are brought to life with great attention to detail and precision.
